Dr Huan Zhao has more than 15 years of experience in Academic English and ESOL teaching and researching. During the past 15 years, she has been working as Academic Writing Consultant at Massey University, NZCEL Tutor in New Zealand and Lecturer at Fudan University in China. She has a profound understanding of teacher education, second language acquisition and pedagogies.

Huan has completed her PhD in TESOL and Applied Linguistics in 2019 at the University of Auckland. She was awarded the Fellow certificate (FHEA) in 2022 and has a tertiary level teaching qualification (TESOL and Applied Linguistics).
