Dr Norasieh Md Amin
Subject Librarian
LibraryI provide support to academics, researchers and students through research consultations, online & face-to-face information literacy workshops, plus digital content for Stream, and collection development. I also support Endnote and Zotero, and provide advice on publication impact, scholarly profiles, open access, and research data management.
I have been part of the library and information profession since 2000, following the completion of my Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS). In 2015, I obtained my PhD from Auckland University of Technology (AUT), and soon after joined Unitec as a Subject Librarian for Engineering and Computing, prior to joining Massey University in Sept 2025. As a registered LIANZA member, I am deeply committed to advancing information literacy and promoting open access. My interests also include the evolving role of artificial intelligence in higher education, scholarly communication, and active learner engagement.
Kia ora koutou, salam sejahtera and assalamualaikum
I am one of the Subject Librarians for the College of Sciences and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Auckland Campus.
