Alan has significant property industry experience and is transitioning into academia. He has recently completed his PhD thesis and is awaiting graduation in 2021.  The thesis title is "Ground Leaseholders’ Perception of Rent Review Risk: The Impact of the Availability Heuristic."

Courses currently taught are 127.241 Property Market Principles, 127.242 Introduction to Property Valuation and 127.343 Applied Property Valuation. Previously taught was the course 127.341 Property Management and Development together with some property input into a first year Business Studies course in Finance.
