Dr Louis Wu MAvD, PhD

I specialise in air transport and tourism economics, with 19 publications in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part A, Annals of Tourism Research, Transport Policy, and the Journal of Transport Geography. My research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the links between aviation, tourism, and regional prosperity, focusing on the economic and social sustainability of airlines, airports, and tourism activities. 

I serve as a reviewer for leading journals, including Transportation Research Part A, Current Issues in Tourism, and Transport Policy. 

I received the 2025 Massey Business School Early Career Researcher (ECR) Research Award.
