Pauline Nijman

Practice Manager - Companion Animal Hospital

School of Veterinary Science

I enjoy challenging and changing work, so wildlife is my perfect fit. I am lucky to have worked with a huge variety of species and enjoy the constant challenge of caring for their individual needs in a wildlife hospital.

Since starting at Wildbase I have created a School Sponsorship Program where I am able to get local schools involved in the day to day drama of caring for sick and injured wildlife and pass on my passion for caring for animals to them. During the program they fundraise and create community awareness about NZ natives and the threats they face.
