Jane Lee BSW, MSW

Lecturer - Social Work

School of Social Work

I am a lecturer in the School of Social Work at Massey University and a PhD candidate. I am passionate about researching the experiences of single parents, the majority being mothers, raising disabled children in Aoteaora New Zealand. I am a spokesperson for the Child Poverty Action Group. My extensive social work background is mostly in NGO social work.

Outside of mahi, I am on the Lottery Individuals with Disabilities funding allocation committee, the Hutt Valley RDA board, and the Upper Hutt City Football executive committee. I am mother to seven tamariki, a keen powerlifter and an enthusiastic karaoke singer.
