Dr Priya Vishnu PhD

Priya has experience developing novel solutions to complex engineering problems through qualitative and quantitative analysis of experimental data, interpretation of scientific evidence acquired through advanced nonlinear, large-deformation finite element analysis and application of fundamental engineering knowledge to derive new methodologies.

In additon to working and supervising students in earthquake engineering projects, she also supervises students working on life cycle assessments, sustainability and zero carbon projects at the School of Built Environment,

Priya attained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cantebury after securing a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering and Bachelors in Engineering. Having a diverse academic and research background, she enjoys working collaboratively on multi-disciplinary projects.
