Dr Emma Dresler

Senior Lecturer

Massey Business School - Deputy PVC's Office

The three dominant themes in my research are consumer psychology, research methodology and health promotion. I combine several innovative methodologies and apply these approaches to studying the social influences on the behaviours of young consumers. I have applied them in the investigation of the issues surrounding consumer learning, health and food consumption patterns, especially in the school environment. In aggregate, my research projects seek to engage in theory development, assessment and recommendations to promote long-term behavioural change that may be inconsistent with people's core belief system.
