Presentation of the results of a substantial piece of original research within the field of study of the candidate, together with a review of relevant literature, on a subject approved in advance by the Chief Supervisor. The preparation and presentation of the thesis shall comply with the requirements then in force in relation to preparation of theses for the Master of Veterinary Science degree.
The 30 credit dissertation is a report of a detailed review of the published literature on a defined topic within the field of study of the candidate. The dissertation should not exceed 15 000 words. The subject of the dissertation must be approved in advance.
A supervisor, with expertise in the topic of your dissertation, will be appointed to support your progress in this course.
Note: You may enrol in a postgraduate course (that is a 700-, 800- or 900-level course) if you meet the prerequisites for that course and have been admitted to a qualification which lists the course in its schedule.
