117.731 Principles of Epidemiology (15 credits)
Students will study the principles of epidemiology with an emphasis on learning the skills necessary to critically evaluate the literature for the purposes of evidence-based medicine. Examples and case studies will be drawn from a range of species including humans, domestic animals and wildlife.
Note(s): Courses will be offered subject to sufficient numbers being enrolled.
Note: You may enrol in a postgraduate course (that is a 700-, 800- or 900-level course) if you meet the prerequisites for that course and have been admitted to a qualification which lists the course in its schedule.
- Foundational knowledge of disease in individuals and populations.
