Massey is a world-ranked university offering excellent courses when you're not out having the time of your life exploring New Zealand.
Studying at one of Massey’s three campuses is a great way to experience the Kiwi lifestyle, explore a beautiful country, and make new friends, all while gaining academic credit toward your degree. Past students have shared great stories with us about their time here in New Zealand. You can choose from a huge range of subjects to study at Massey that will credit toward your degree at your home institution.
We know moving across the ocean to live and study can be a bit intimidating. Not to worry, though. We have a whole range of staff teams and support services to ease your transition and get the most out of your time in New Zealand. You can email us with any questions or stay up to date by liking us on Facebook. You can also find out what it is like to be here by reading blogs from past students and watching our Massey and student videos.
Massey offers a wide range of catered and non-catered accommodation options. Book your housing by getting in touch with the Accommodation Services team on the campus where you will be studying.
Students with disabilities have the support of a Disability Services office on each campus. Please contact us about the documents we need from your home institution to help us do our best to meet your needs. Counselling sessions can be arranged in advance as well through our on-campus Health and Counselling Centres.
A Kiwi welcome awaits the moment you arrive into your final destination, with an airport pickup and transportation to campus. Each campus has an International Student Support office to help you settle in and enjoy your time at Massey. Each team will be on hand to provide guidance and organise events throughout the semester.
You will start meeting people right away during orientation. The International Student Information Session will take place right before Orientation, which will include all domestic and international students. Massey Guides will be all around the three campuses to help you with anything that comes up.
Massey’s comprehensive student services includes everything from peer Student Advisers, academic and study skill workshops, chaplaincy teams, and more.
The best way to meet people is to take part in Massey’s vibrant student life. The student associations on each campus organize clubs and societies covering everything from sports teams, academic societies, religious groups, sports teams, outdoor adventure clubs, to special interest organizations.
Massey University offers a summer study abroad programme for a wide range of majors. The program takes place over the Northern Hemisphere summer and is equivalent to 6 - 8 U.S. semester credits, 15 ECTS and 30 CATS. Each track begins with a two-week study tour of New Zealand, starting in May or June, and finishes with a four-week internship.
High performing male and female athletes can enhance their skills, continue their training and conditioning, receive intensive coaching, and play with professional players while studying at Massey University for one or two semesters. You will return home stronger, faster, and in better shape than when you left. Your international experience will strengthen you as an athlete and student, as well as making you more marketable in the future.
Our Internship involves a placement in a media company, for-profit business, community arts agency, sports organisation, governmental department, global non-profit, or with Massey University’s Study Abroad and Student Exchange Team. Internships are available on all three Massey campuses. The internship will serve as one of the four courses you take at Massey during the semester.
